Functions

  • Job Purpose:
  • Managing Vendor Strategy Worldwide. The key activity of the job includes
  • ̶ To define the guidelines for the Worldwide Vendor Strategy
  • ̶ To define the parameters upon the strategy has to be executed
  • ̶ To monitor and guarantee the successfully execution of the strategy across TBS Vendors
  • ̶ To support the Regional Area on the execution of the worldwide strategy. Liaison between regional teams and central areas
  • ̶ To define and lead the transformation of the key project of the direction
  • ̶ To define a vendor strategy for Fixed Voice and UCC services
  • ̶ To guarantee alignment and coherence of the Vendor Management Strategy across the units of TBS.
  • ̶ To manage the Strategic Committees within TBS with Vendor Management Representation.
  • Other activities:
  • ̶ Channel all the requests of relevant areas in respect to the state of art of the vendors
  • ̶ Ensuring relevant areas (sales, operations, DDO) are aware and participate in the build of the strategy along with the continuously flow of information.
  • ̶ Ensure that our Vendors understand TBS Vendor Strategy and their position in our framework
  • ̶ Understanding changes in the market and flag to internal areas
  • ̶ To align Vendor Management Strategy with other strategic departments in and outside TBS

Requirements

  • • Excellent knowledge of the Telco/ICT market worldwide
  • • Strong inter-areas leading skills.
  • • Excellent leadership & interpersonal skills: articulate, confident and able to build relationships and communicate at multiple levels in a matrix management environment across diverse countries and cultures.
  • • Ability to build internal/external relationships and gain respect and credibility from the team.
  • • Strong consultation, influencing and negotiating skills.
  • • Excellent written and oral skills and a confident presenter. External relationship management to board level.
  • • Flexible, proactive, entrepreneurial, autonomous and strategically-oriented individual with the ability to craft high level strategy while also effectively managing operational detail and project management requirements.
  • • Availability to travel.
