FUNCTIONS

Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Collaborate in the development and execution of long-term strategies for the plant, aligned with the company's overall objectives. Set objectives for all areas of the plant managing the most efficient use of assigned resources (Technical, Human, Financial, etc.). Distribution and assignment of tasks derived from the objectives entrusted to complete the strategic plan. Establishment of plant indicators, applying the corrective measures that are necessary to meet the commitments established with Clients (Annual production plan). Establishment of the resources necessary to meet the plant's long-term objectives. Management and planning of investments of any type necessary to maintain the competitiveness of the business in the long term (CAPEX/OPEX). Maintain effective relationships with clients, ensuring that their expectations in terms of quality and delivery time are met. Monitor plant expenses, manage the operating budget, and optimize costs to ensure the operation is profitable. Profitability analysis: Evaluate the financial performance of the plant, generating reports that help make strategic decisions. Planning and monitoring in the realization of prototypes and new industrializations. Monitoring of training of the personnel in charge. Setting objectives and degree of compliance of the personnel in charge. Review and approval of contracts related to the business. Approval of the annual budget for the business (including billing plan). Identification of new opportunities in the business. Comply with and enforce health and safety regulations at the plant and environmental management regulations at the plant. Strengthen staff motivation actions that encourage their participation, integration into the business and improvement of the work environment. Promote the professional growth of the team, ensuring that employees have the necessary skills. Promote a culture of continuous improvement in the plant using the organization's methodology and processes. Requisites Engineering Degree – Technical Engineering or Higher. Experience in the multinational companies in the heavy industry sector Experience in continuous improvement. More than 15 years of experience in technical and/or production departments. Extensive knowledge in Quality of both process and product. Languages Proficient English and Spanish . IT/office automation (programs, languages, operating systems,): recommended knowledge Office automation: spreadsheets, intranet. Integrated packages: Microsoft Office, MS project, Visio Management tools: SAP, JIRA Proven soft skills in: Organizational capacity Capacity to adapt. Teamwork Leadership capacity Relationship/communication skills Negotiating skills Client orientation Decision making Organization and planning Results orientation Global Vision
