FUNCTIONS

The Export Director will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and meeting annual revenue targets. You will work closely with the commercial team, coordinating efforts with distributors and agents, and structuring a robust network to serve key clients. The role also involves managing the travel plans of the sales team, ensuring that 50% of their time is spent visiting clients to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Key Responsibilities: • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and present annual sales plans to the Deputy General Manager for approval. • Team Coordination: Work closely with a team of five sales representatives to set goals and tasks for distributors and agents. • Client & Agent Network: Build and maintain a structured agent network to serve and expand key client relationships. • Sales Team Oversight: Monitor travel schedules and client visits, ensuring 50% of the sales team’s time is dedicated to client interactions. • Performance Management: Provide bi-weekly feedback to the sales team, with regular follow-ups to track and improve performance. • Client Relations: Visit key clients for one week each month, with the remaining time spent in the Barcelona office overseeing operations and supporting the sales team. • Market Leadership: Assume full responsibility for the French market, driving sales growth and strengthening customer relationships. • Salesforce CRM: Utilize Salesforce for tracking client interactions, sales performance, and conducting market analysis. Qualifications & Skills: • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Export Director, ideally within the sun protection or related industries. • Proven track record in developing and executing successful international sales strategies. • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on achieving sales targets and maximizing team performance. • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is highly valued. • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM platform. • Willingness to travel frequently (at least one week per month for client visits).
