Our client, the world’s largest and most innovative provider of temperature-controlled logistics solutions, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (m/f/d) to join their team in Bremerhaven.
Your Mission:
As an HR Business Partner you take on all HR tasks from A to Z, from being a business partner and trusted advisor to the senior leaders, to being the contact person for employees with questions, to supporting the company's HR tools and policies to be known and implemented in Germany, such as performance management, employee engagement and implementation of the global HR system. For payroll, there is an external partner. You will be part of the HR EU team and report to Regional HR Business Partner who leads the newly integrated businesses.
Your Responsibilities:
• Be a proactive HR business partner for the local managers in Germany.
• Implement HR processes and HR policies that comply with local legal requirements.
• Collaborate with the European HR team bringing solutions for the region on topics such as talent management, compensation structure and employee engagement initiatives.
• Establish relevant cooperation with the right suppliers and partners and manage them accordingly, for example temporary work agencies, lease car providers.
• Work with relevant HR data that bring insights and data-driven process improvements.
• Drive implementation of HR practices that strengthen the culture and values across the region.
• Communicate and involve all relevant stakeholders on important developments and initiatives in the region.
• Contribute to the company’s efficiency through the optimal management of HR budget and costs.
Your Profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
• Relevant progressive working experience from operational to tactical HR consulting, business partnering, over several years.
• Knowledge of general HR policies, procedures, and HR leading practices and applicable laws / regulations in country of employment; knowledge and previous in-depth working experience with governing CLAs is strongly desired.
• Ability to think logically with supporting analytical skills.
• Experience and ability to work in a matrix organization and international environment.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with the business leaders to understand the business needs and help in developing suitable HR solutions.
• Demonstrated skills in leadership, integration, facilitation, and complex problem solving.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that will enable you to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with Workday or similar Human Capital Management system.
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills in German and English.
• Previous experience in Labor Relations.
• Ability to travel domestically on occasion.
