FUNKTIONEN
Main responsibilities
- Key function in the development and management within the engineering of PV systems in Germany, including proposal preparation, contract review, progress control and coordination between departments (also projects in an international context if required).
- Responsibility for the technical, economic and planning management of PV plants in all phases of project development.
- Due diligence for PV projects with focus on energy assessment, design and feasibility. Site visits and supervision of EPC work with focus on technical issues.
- Development and review of energy yield calculations (using tools such as PVSYST), PV system concepts (optimization & calculation of electrical configuration) and PV design packages (including layouts, electrical wiring, collection systems & mounting details with support from external engineering firms).
- Development of requirements for SCADA and communication equipment as well as support in the implementation of new trends such as batteries, hybrid solutions etc..
- Representing the company to relevant stakeholders, such as authorities and institutions, both public and private, on matters related to its responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or similar & Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in planning photovoltaic projects in Germany as well as at least 3 years of experience working with PVSYST software. It is necessary to be an experienced user.
- Experience with battery projects and PV system design (production analysis, electrical and civil work) is a plus.
- Knowledge of new trends in PV main equipment (modules, inverters, fixed structure/trackers) and renewable energy project management approval process is a plus.
- Knowledge of communications, Scada system, grid regulation and working with certification companies is a plus.
- An extensive portfolio of industry contacts is a plus.
- Knowledge in the use of analysis/optimization and modeling software (e.g. Power Factory, MS Project, MS Office, AutoCad and GIS).
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and with cross-functional internal groups of all levels and responsibilities.
- German (full prof. proficiency), English (full prof. proficiency), Spanish will be positively considered.
