FUNKTIONEN
he Quantity Surveyor Civil Lead for the Casablanca Desalination Plant will report directly to the Construction Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that all actions and procedures carried out by the Civil Engineering team during the execution phase meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. This role involves closely monitoring and verifying adherence to regulatory requirements, project specifications, and internal standards, ensuring that the work is executed efficiently and responsibly in alignment with the project's objectives. Its main functions will be:
Supervise and Ensure Quality Compliance:
- Supervise and verify compliance with quality standards during the construction phase of the wastewater treatment plant.
- Ensure that civil engineering works comply with applicable international regulations, project specifications, and Acciona Agua's internal quality standards.
- Implement quality control plans and internal auditing processes to ensure consistency and performance of on-site activities.
Manage and Approve Project Documentation:
- Review and approve quality documents, including procedures and inspections.
- Ensure proper processing of work certifications.
- Review contractual aspects with the client to coordinate claims.
- Conduct internal audits of the project to identify any deviations.
- Ensure proper execution of material and construction process quality inspections.

- Attention to detail and ability to identify non-conformities and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Interpersonal skills to coordinate internal and external teams and foster continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills to manage relationships at various levels with the client and other disciplines involved in project execution.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE
- Understanding of international regulations related to civil engineering projects.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Roads, Canals, and Ports, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management for civil infrastructure projects, preferably in water treatment plants.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Conversational proficiency in French and Spanish is highly valued.
