Reporting to the VP Marketing & Digital EMEA, this role sits between the EMEA Instruments team and the EMEA Marketing team.
In this newly, strategic position you will have to integrate instruments portfolio in all categories and create a bridge between the instruments and the other teams to maximize the offer. The objective is to put instruments back at the heart of discussions. You will have to develop a strategy, positioning, messaging and Go-To market plan to reach the client with the combo of instruments and lenses together.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Capture and structure the market intelligence to support annual strategy and support the Global Marketing Director Instruments in the creation and execution of the strategic B2B and B2B2C Marketing plan for Instruments EMEA.
• Responsible for the implementation of the strategic marketing plan and budget for instruments portfolio.
• Increase of the market share and name recognition through active product und brand positioning.
• Support the countries to ensure efficient launches: training, communication material, elements for Roadshows.
• Develop and rollout training materials.
• Manage assets and collaterals including B2B (Eye Care Practionaires, Optometrist) and B2B2C (Patients, Consumer) communication assets and selling speeches, FAQs, in store communications and POS, digital and website content.
• Lead performance analysis: Marketing KPIs and implementation of required corrective actions
• Contribute to development of cross-category opportunities Instruments/Lenses/Frames.
NETWORK OF INTERACTION:
INTERNAL : Growth Program Activation, Global Marketing Instruments, WHS EMEA Marketing, EMEA Business Instruments, Education/Medical Marketing, EMEA Business Intelligence.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Ability to build consumers approach (B2C marketing sellout) as well as operational B2B marketing actions.
• Ability to collaborate efficiently with a wide variety of partners upstream and downstream (sales and marketing (region/ networks/countries), in an international environment.
• Ability to structure a strategic recommendation, to build and share a vision on your topics. Very good analytical skills, data driven thinking and capacity to build a synthesis.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Master degree of business administration Degree/ Business school.
• 8-12 years of experience in Marketing is required. Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix.
• Strong technical/scientific background or previous experience in medical devices industry is required.
• Optical knowledge would be a plus.
• English fluent. French is a nice to have.
