We are seeking a seasoned Key Account Manager, to lead our strategic initiatives of the different brands across the BENELUX markets.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing key accounts within the fragrance sector, with a strong focus on the Major Benelux Key account.
This role demands exceptional analytical skills, pro-active leadership, strategic thinking, and relationship-building skills to drive growth and maximize opportunities with our top retailers.
1. Key Account Management:
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for key retailers in Netherland, Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within each account.
• Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize profitability and market share.
2. Market Analysis and Strategy:
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the fragrance industry.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to address market dynamics and drive growth in the Benelux region.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and supply chain to align strategies and initiatives.
3. Forecasting and Performance Management:
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance against targets.
• Analyze sales data and market insights to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Implement measures to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities to drive revenue growth.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management within the fragrance industry.
• Dutch mother tongue with fluent English language skills (and French is a plus) .
• Proven track record of success in managing key accounts and driving sales growth.
• Strong understanding of the fragrance market landscape and retail dynamics in the Benelux region.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive account plans.
• Demonstrated leadership skills
• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and market insights to drive decision-making.
• Ability to travel within the Benelux region as required.
