FUNCTIONS

Your Responsibilities: - Take leadership and overall responsibility for the operations in France, including overseeing the local team (2-3 people) and maintaining an overview of all units and market activities in the country. - Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies to maximize gross profit and market share in close coordination with the units. - Act as the primary point of contact for the headquarters in Germany, regarding all activities in France. - Drive long-term business development and execute strategic measures within the country: Maintain and expand long-term customer relationships and networks (including industry associations and stakeholders; participate in trade fairs and conferences). Identify and pursue new opportunities with suppliers and customers, including collaboration with other regions and countries. Support the initiation of potential partnerships and facilitate collaboration between new clients and units. - Execute strategic market development: Analyze and understand market trends, competition, and key market players. Derive and implement additional sales and procurement strategies for the market. Identify and promote innovations. Your Profile: - Strong expertise in the biomass and/or waste management industry. - At least five years of experience in successfully leading teams. - Strategic thinking and action, always considering the bigger picture. - A natural networker with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Strong customer and business orientation. - Results-driven and highly motivated to achieve top performance in business development in France. - Flexible, independent, and structured working style, complemented by strong analytical skills. - Willingness to travel extensively within the business region, with the ability to balance regular meetings at the headquarters in Bremen, Germany, with your personal commitments. - Communicative, team-oriented, and fostering an open and transparent relationship with colleagues and supervisors. - Native French speaker with fluency in English and/or German at a professional level.
