FUNCTIONS

We are seeking an experienced Dutch-speaking Architect to join a Spanish architecture firm's team for a significant airport development project in the Netherlands. This role involves collaboration with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team and requires strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders Key Responsibilities: 1. Client interaction: Attend meetings on behalf of Studio Lamela, engage with clients to gather information, discuss project details, and ensure clear communication of design intentions and requirements. 2. Project coordination: Work within a cross-functional architecture team (15-20 members) to coordinate various work packages, ensuring alignment and integration of efforts across disciplines. 3. Documentation oversight: Supervise and follow up on project documentation, ensuring all materials are up to date and accessible for team members. 4. Presentation development: Create and deliver graphic presentations to communicate design concepts and project progress effectively. Construction support: Collaborate with the Dutch construction company involved in the project, ensuring seamless communication and adherence to project timelines and standards. 5. Reporting: Report directly to the local partner (KAAN) and provide updates on project status, challenges, and solutions. 6. Design sensibility: good design sensibility, care for details and look and feel of the building, good knowledge of the materials, ability to fight for aesthetics within technical constraints. Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 10 years of architectural experience, with a focus on large-scale projects, preferably in airport design. - Language Proficiency: High proficiency in Dutch and English is essential. - Technical Skills: Proficient in REVIT and other architectural design software. - Experience in Dutch Construction: Prior experience working on construction sites in the Netherlands is a significant advantage. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
