Our client is one of the leading European companies in the food & FMCG industry. We are seeking a dynamic Sales & Key Account Manager (m/f/d), who has experience in negotiating with purchasing centers, managing key client relationships, developing new sales channels and driving long-term growth in the DACH region.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts - you are the primary point of contact.
- Negotiate annual contracts, pricing, and terms directly with purchasing centers and regional client divisions (also commercial agreement managing, including all associated costs).
- Understand client needs, strategies, and identify growth opportunities.
- Implement promotional activities and coordinate with internal teams to ensure proper execution.
- Define and execute commercial strategies, annual plans, and new sales channels.
- Analyze sales performance, conduct regular store visits, and prepare performance reports.
- Maintain close contact with clients, handle conflicts, and support the customer service team in resolving issues.
Your profile:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales or similar apprenticeship.
- At least 3-5 years of professional experience in sales and key account management, with proven experience negotiating with purchasing centers, preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
- Willingness to travel frequently (approximately 70% of the time away from home).
- Fluent in German, both written and spoken. Knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.
- Strong negotiation skills as well as excellent communication and conflict management abilities.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working autonomously.
