FUNCTIES
The Controlling Director will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis functions for the organization. The role ensures the alignment of financial strategies with the company’s objectives, enabling data-driven decision-making. The position, will play a key role in optimizing financial performance, ensuring cost efficiency, and driving profitability within a dynamic multinational environment in the food and beverage (F&B) sector.
As key responsibilities we can highlight the following:
- Lead the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances, managing the asigned team.
- Lead and coordinate activities that comply with company's internal controls and adherence to corporate processes and systems.
- Prepare month/year-end closing procedures and group reporting and the analytical consolidation of Group’s financial information
- Preparation of business reviews and its analysis and interpretation of financials
- Establish and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial and operational performance
- Provide reporting to management teams.
- Lead the optimization of business processes continuously
- Maintain and foster a steady and productive contact with all local operation and its management
- Ensure compliance on all levels and cooperate with internal audit & compliance committee
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization across business units and regions.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic initiatives, including market expansion, M&A, and new product launches.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Degree in Economics, BA and MBA or similar will be a plus.
- Experience in Retail / Consumer / F&B companies in similar position, approx. 10-12 years experience.
- Proficient in English.
- Hands on, drives empowerment and accountability, has strong communication skills and can act as a real catalyst.
- Team player, involving other senior stakeholders to come to the right solution is a must.
- Well-rounded interpersonal skills with the capacity to build strong relationships and collaborate across multiple stakeholders at all levels within the organization
- High sense of personal ethics and integrity
- Solid communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must be organized, action-oriented and results-driven
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proactive, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Strong knowledge of financial systems, tools, and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and delegate to produce desired results
