Account Manager Iberia [Coatings]

We are looking for a proactive Account Manager to join the Packaging Coatings Division for the Iberia region. In this role, you will report to the Business Leader for South Europe and manage a significant portfolio of approximately 80 customers, representing a turnover of circa EUR 4.5 million. Your primary objective will be to drive sales activities in Spain and Portugal in line with the EMEA regional strategy. This position is ideal for a professional who combines technical expertise in the printing industry with a sharp commercial mindset. You will be responsible for both nurturing existing accounts and identifying new market opportunities among mid-size and smaller printers, leveraging global resources to provide top-tier service and technical advice.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten:

Execute the regional sales strategy to achieve commercial objectives in the Iberia region.
Maintain and optimize contacts with existing clients to ensure long-term partnership and portfolio growth.
Expand the customer base by identifying and acquiring mid-size and smaller printers.
Provide technical support and expert advice on product selection to customers.
Support and oversee product trials at customer sites or within company facilities.
Conduct regular visits to customers and prospects to maintain a strong market presence.
Introduce new products and technologies through samples and Technical Data Sheet (TDS) reviews.
Ensure full compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards and Quality protocols (ISO 9001/14001).

Anforderungen:

Must-Haves:
- Education: Technical Engineer or equivalent degree, ideally related to the Printing Industry.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in the printing industry, with a focus on sales and technical application of consumables.
- Languages: Fluent in both Spanish and English (professional working proficiency).
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Coatings, Ingredients, Water-based, Solvent-based, and Energy Curing technologies.
- Mobility: Full willingness to travel extensively across the Iberia region.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, selling, and relationship-building abilities.

Nice-to-Haves:
- Proficiency in an additional language.
- Proven track record in customer acquisition and market expansion.
