Our client is one of the leading international companies in the field of renewable energies.
Your responsibilities:
- You will play the key role in the development & management of the engineering of ground-mounted PV plants in Germany (also internationally if necessary), including proposal preparation, contract review, progress control and coordination between departments.
- You will be responsible for the technical, economic and planning management of PV plants in all phases of project development.
- You will carry out due diligence for PV projects with a focus on energy assessment, design and feasibility. You will visit the sites and supervise the EPC work, focusing on technical issues.
- You will develop and review energy yield calculations (using tools such as PVSYST), PV system concepts (optimization & calculation of electrical configuration) and PV design packages (including layouts, electrical wiring, collection systems & mounting details with the support of external engineering firms).
- You are responsible for the development of requirements for SCADA and communication equipment as well as for supporting the implementation of new trends, such as batteries, hybrid solutions etc..
- You will represent the company to relevant stakeholders, such as authorities and institutions, both public and private, on matters related to its responsibilities.
Your profile:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power engineering or a similar education.
- You have at least three years of experience in planning photovoltaic projects and are confident working with PVSYST software.
- Knowledge of new trends in PV main equipment (modules, inverters, fixed structure/trackers) as well as in the areas of communication, Scada system, grid regulation, cooperation with certification companies, and analysis/optimization and modeling software (e.g. Power Factory, MS Project, MS Office, AutoCad and GIS) is a plus.
- You are flexible to travel and comfortable working effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with cross-functional groups.
- English (full professional proficiency), German and Spanish skills are a plus.
