We are currently recruiting their HR Manager who will be responsible for defining, developing and implementing the HR strategies for the Italian business. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of human resources for their in Italy.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the QSR/ Retail or Hospitality businesses and demonstrate expertise in core HR functions, with a strong focus on labor law, payroll administration, workforce planning, recruitment, and compliance. You will work closely with management to foster a positive and efficient workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values and operational goals.
As key responsibilities, we can highlight the following:
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Italian labor laws and tax regulations.
- Manage compensation structures and benefits administration, including ensuring competitive pay practices.
- Handle employee time tracking and attendance management systems.
- Maintain compliance with Italian labor laws, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts in a fair and legally compliant manner.
- Implement and maintain policies and procedures that foster a respectful and productive workplace.
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment
- Partner with store managers to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Develop and manage workforce planning and scheduling strategies to optimize labor costs and ensure adequate staffing.
- Analyze HR data to identify trends in employee satisfaction, turnover, and workforce performance.
- Prepare regular HR reports on metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, hiring, and payroll expenses.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- At least 7+ years of experience in HR, preferably within the QSR, retail, or hospitality sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Italian labor laws and employment regulations, particularly as they pertain to the QSR industry.
- Proven experience in payroll processing, workforce planning, recruitment, and labor law compliance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Italian and English.
- Proficiency in HRIS software and payroll systems; familiarity with scheduling software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards specific to the QSR industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Fluent in Italian and English
