Our client is a leading company in the field of frozen bakery products. To manage and further develop the Spanish and Portuguese markets, we are looking for an experienced sales agent. You will take over a long-established customer base and actively shape further market expansion with a high degree of entrepreneurial freedom.

Responsabilidades Principales:

Your Responsibilities:

• Management and expansion of an existing network of wholesalers and direct customers
• Acquisition of new wholesalers as well as larger out-of-home customers (e.g. gastronomy, catering)
• Expansion of regional and national distribution with a focus on foodservice, the out-of-home market, and the hotel, restaurant and catering segment; retail development as a second step
• Marketing of the standard product range; development of private label products subject to defined minimum order quantities
• Regular customer visits including product sampling, tastings, and training of wholesalers’ sales teams
• Organization and execution of in-house exhibitions as well as participation in national and international trade fairs
• Negotiation of prices and terms and implementation of price adjustments in coordination with the company
• Development and implementation of a multi-year market and expansion strategy including business planning
• Coordination of customer complaints in cooperation with internal sales
• Preparation of annual sales forecasts and identification of growth potential
• Continuous market and competitor monitoring with feedback on product range development
• Communication with customers and headquarters in English (German is an advantage; Spanish alone is not sufficient)

Requisitos:

Your Profile:

• Several years of sales experience with relevant products in the food or foodservice environment
• Experience working with direct customers and wholesalers
• Solid network in foodservice, food retail, or the hotel, restaurant and catering sector
• Strong know-how in distribution; retail experience is a plus
• Fluent Spanish and English; German is an advantage
• Strong drive to shape and develop the business with a high degree of autonomy
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to contribute new ideas and improvement proposals and implement them both strategically and operationally
• Readiness to travel very frequently within Spain and Portugal
