Jr Pre-sales Engineer

Our client, a leading international manufacturer in the industrial sector, is currently looking for a Sales Back Office Engineer to join their team in Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona). In this role, you will be the key technical back-office support for the commercial operations in the Portuguese market, collaborating closely with the regional Sales Engineers. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer looking to gain deep technical-commercial expertise, develop inside a global organization, and build a career path toward a direct Sales Engineer role in the future.

Responsabilidades Principales:

Proposal & Tendering Preparation: Prepare, review, and deliver technical proposals and customized solutions for new equipment and spare parts for the Portuguese market.
Order Entry & Processing: Manage order entry activities, documentation, and follow-up for finalized commercial proposals and spare parts orders.
Internal Commercial Support: Provide daily back-office support to regional commercial managers, ensuring accurate handling of internal technical inquiries and client requirements.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to verify the feasibility of proposals and custom solutions.
Sales Activity Management: Maintain updated records of sales activities, proposals, and customer technical data using internal CRM tools.

Requisitos:

Education: Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, or related technical background).
Experience: 1 to 2 years of professional experience in an industrial environment or technical company. Experience in fluid handling, valves, pumps, motors, or paper/pulp industries is positively valued.
Role Focus: Strong interest in developing a career in technical sales and commercial engineering.
Languages: High level of English (written and spoken) is required for daily collaboration. Portuguese is considered a plus.
Skills: Good communication skills, team orientation, proactive mindset, and quick adaptation to technical product lines. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms.
