FUNCTIES

This position is responsible for the ownership and maintenance of raw material information, specifications and standards for Revlon internal and third parties global manufacturing sites, with focus on data entry into the company systems. The raw material specialist works in cooperation with the Regulatory and Sustainability groups to support characterization of the raw material portfolio. Essentials Responsibilities: - Data entry responsibilities include collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate records of valuable company information. Compile, verify accuracy and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry. Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check output. Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents. - Contact the Raw Material vendors and request pertinent information and documentation. Collect and maintain Raw Material information to support global Revlon or R&D initiatives with main focus on Regulatory and Sustainability inquires. - Submit the Raw Material documentation to the Regulatory and Sustainability groups for review. - Create and revise internal Raw Material specifications to reflect approval of new raw materials, addition of alternate sources, changes to vendor specifications, etc. When applicable, convey Revlon specification to the supplier to obtain their acceptance. - Maintain Raw Material information (i.e. documentation, specifications, inspection plan, handling and storage conditions, EHS) in Revlon Information systems. Requirements: -Degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology or related scientific field. -A minimum of 1-2 years in raw materials technical support, quality assurance, formulation, and/or raw material procurement/sales -Advanced English. -Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) at user level required -Familiarity with SAP, external raw material databases and search engines is preferred
