As part of their growth, we are currently recruiting a KAM B2B to be based in Madrid. You will be responsible for managing the commercial relationship with all food industrial manufacturers for the food ingredients products on the Spanish market. In close cooperation with the direction and production plants, you will build strategies to develop the sales volume with current customers and prospects. You will coordinate the price negotiations with the factories according to customer needs.
As key responsibilities we can highlight the following:
- Contribute to the definition of the commercial roadmap on his/her portfolio: target product categories and estimate business potential and ensure its displaying
- Establish and manage sales targets and budgets for his/her portfolio
- Enter and update opportunities/negotiations in the CRM tool
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with the portfolio customers and prospects
- Negotiate the purchase terms with the factories and the sales terms with the customers
- Track sales by account and by product
- Monitor and settle customers troubles
- Market trends and competitor monitoring
- Define forecasts for his/her portfolio
- Collaborate with factories to comply with the Group's commercial policy and define commercial conditions
- Contribute to innovation and development projects in collaboration with the Marketing/Quality/Supply teams and with factories
- Reporting to the Country Manager
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Master Degree
- At least 4-5 years of sales experience in BtoB food ingredients market including at least 1-2 rounds of negotiations with the customers as Key Account Manager
- Experience in the BtoB sales and account management
- In-depth understanding of food ingredients market and trends
- Negociation with BtoB customers
- Ability to analyze sales data and use the results to make improvements
- Good knowledge of CRM and project management tools
- Fluency in English for daily professional practice
- Team work
- Communication (internal with project teams + external with customers and factories)
