FUNCIONES
The specific responsibility of this role is to pursue the achievement of all sales and growth targets and strategies agreed within the European admixtures management team, coordinate and develop the West European admixtures teams, consolidate and improve the position of the Admixtures business in the West European region.
RESPONSIBILITIES
For the admixtures business in West European region:
• Represent the company management, as a member of the European admixtures management team, in the running of the business.
• Cooperate in defining strategic and operative plans in cooperation with local functions.
• Work together with the local management to verify results and examine any off-target performance.
• Coordinate expansion and restructuring projects.
• Coordinate local companies operating projects in which central and Eur functions are also involved.
• Identify critical success factors in the local territory and steer organizational processes towards fully achieving them.
• Manage and motivate human resources, engendering a team spirit and ensuring sufficient skill development to enable personnel to meet organizational targets.
• Guarantee effective, efficient management of all available organizational resources, in line with operating principles and methodologies defined
• Assure constant interaction with every department, to take advantage of all possible integration opportunities and synergies and with a strong spirit of cooperation
KEY PRIORITIES
For the admixtures business in West Europe region in tight coordination with the European Manager colleagues of Admixtures:
• Identify new opportunities for third party customer growth and drive the business strategy aimed at maximizing top and bottom business growth
• Work with National Admixtures Business Managers to drive and execute the strategic plan in each country
• Provide necessary leadership and build a strong highly committed team of professionals in each West European country
• An ambassadorial role: (s)he would need to ensure continued strong brand credibility through taking leadership roles in the very active building materials industry.
PROFILE
The candidate is expected to have a strong commercial experience, business development ideally in the admixtures business. Candidates with experience in building materials or similar industry can also be considered.
The ideal candidate should have demonstrated a track record of scaling up operations and building sustainable, a solid track record with good business sense and sound judgement.
(S)He should have had the experience of managing teams and an overview of organization processes and also possess strong customer and ideally at least some distribution network relationship and management skills with capability to interact and influence.
- 10+ years of work experience and possess the maturity and experience compatible with the position.
- Energetic and a “hands on” manager, with enthusiasm and personal charisma, as well as the drive to take on the role and deliver to high performance standards.
- Commercially astute in order be able to maintain profitability while growing sales in a competitive market.
- Good academic background and multi-country exposure.
- Excellent communication skills to be able to communicate with people at different levels of the organization
- Languagues : French & English mandatory, Spanish or German are a plus.
