Overview
Important industrial company is seeking a General Manager to oversee its operations in the Czech Republic. The company provides turnkey solutions and innovative products, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and client satisfaction. The General Manager will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring profitability, and leading the business to achieve its objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Budget Management: Fully responsible for achieving set budget targets and objectives. Prepare and negotiate the annual budget with headquarters.
- Operational Leadership: Ensure smooth and effective operation of the company by aligning day-to-day activities with objectives related to sales, growth, profitability, efficiency, quality, and service levels.
- Market Analysis & Business Development: Analyze the local market to identify opportunities for the company’s products and services. Define the business strategy and product/services portfolio based on market insights.
- Sales Strategy & Growth: Lead the development and execution of a sales strategy to increase market share and business growth in the region.
- Client Management: Actively manage key accounts and institutional sales. Coordinate resources to deliver high-quality, turnkey water treatment solutions to clients.
- External Representation: Represent the company in front of clients, local authorities, and institutions. Build and maintain strong relationships to secure new contracts and foster business growth.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Languages: Fluency in both Czech and English.
Experience
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in sales management, ideally within a similar industry (professional channel).
- Proven experience managing and motivating small teams.
- Hands-on experience in business development and managing key accounts.
Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to influence, present information clearly, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills, able to engage effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines with attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and negotiations.
- A deep understanding of business concepts and the ability to align goals with overall objectives.
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, with the ability to ensure full compliance in all business operations.
