Descripción del puesto:

The person will be responsible for a product portfolio and will have end-to-end responsibility for Supply Chain operations, from the inbound of goods from international suppliers through to warehousing, transportation, and final delivery to the customer.

This will be a role with high international exposure and constant interaction with suppliers, customers, logistics providers, carriers, warehouses, customs authorities, and internal teams.

The main objective will be to ensure that logistics operations run efficiently, while ensuring compliance with customer deadlines, requirements, and service levels.

Responsabilidades Principales:

- End-to-End Supply Chain Management
Manage a product portfolio with regional responsibility for Supply Chain activities.
Coordinate inbound, production, warehousing, and outbound operations.
Manage the arrival of goods from international suppliers.
Monitor orders and anticipate potential issues or delays.
Ensure customer deliveries are made within the agreed timelines and conditions.

- International Logistics & Transportation
Coordinate and manage the transportation of chemical products, both in packaged and liquid form.
Work with different transportation modes, including tank trucks, ISO containers, ocean freight, rail, etc.
Select the most suitable transportation providers based on agreements, costs, service levels, and customer requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with logistics suppliers and external service providers.
Coordinate with 3PLs, warehouses, carriers, logistics operators, and customs brokers.

- Value-Added Logistics
Plan and coordinate value-added services such as:
Mixing
Repacking
Drumming
Other product handling and conditioning operations

- Customs & Documentation
Manage documentation related to international operations.
Coordinate import, export, and customs clearance processes.
Ensure that all documentation required for international operations is properly managed and up to date.

- ERP & Data Management
Enter and maintain up-to-date Supply Chain information in the ERP system.
Use available data to monitor and track operations.
Share relevant information with different internal teams.

- Issue & Risk Management
Manage issues related to logistics and Supply Chain operations.
Support the resolution of Supply Chain-related claims and complaints.
Manage crisis situations and coordinate the response with all relevant stakeholders.
Identify and communicate potential risks to the team.
Act quickly when deviations or issues arise that could impact customer service.

- Continuous Improvement
Participate in Supply Chain meetings.
Share information and best practices with the team.
Propose improvements to processes and operations.
Contribute to optimizing costs, lead times, and service levels.

Requisitos:

Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain positions.
Experience in the chemical sector will be highly valued.
Strong knowledge of the following processes:
Import
Export
Customs
Transportation
Warehousing
Order management
Work orders
Experience working with ERP systems; knowledge of NetSuite will be particularly valued.
Fluent Spanish and English.
Experience working in international environments.
